The Regional Governor of Razgrad Gunay Husmen has opened a testament to posterity dating back to 1975. On 1 August 1975, the bottle with the message was placed in the wall of the then state-run dress-making factory “Vasil Kolarov”. The testament is a document typical of the era of communism because it was written on behalf of the workers’ collective. However ideology is not dominant in it. It contains universal and patriotic messages, those who attended the opening event found out. „We address you, future generations. We want to bequest to you our strength, our love, our faith and daring! Do not forget that you must live and work for the sake of the nation that gave birth to you and brought you up!”, the testament reads. „This is living history; more people should read this testament and listen to the voice our forefathers”, commented Regional Governor Gunay Husmen. The scroll with the Testament to Posterity will be handed over to the Regional Museum of History in Razgrad, Northeastern Bulgaria.
