After only being New Zealand's Prime Minister for a week, Jacinda Ardern has already made Forbes Magazine's list of the World's Most Powerful Women and the Most Powerful Female Political Leaders of 2017.
Ms Ardern, who was sworn in as prime minister last Thursday, comes in at number 13 out of the Top 22 Most Powerful Women in Politics, and 38 in the Top 100.
Forbes writes Jacinda Ardern "surged to power in New Zealand on a wave of voter excitement dubbed 'Jacindamania'".
Ms Ardern comes in on the Most Powerful Female Political Leaders behind German Chancellor Angela Merkel at number one, UK PM Theresa May at number two and Tsa Ing-Wen, the President of Taiwan, at number three.
Also on the list is White House senior adviser Ivanka Trump at six and Queen Elizabeth II at eight.
Ms Ardern also features on Forbes World's 100 Most Powerful Women in 2017 at number 38.
Ms Merkel again takes number one placing for the seventh year in a row.
The list is ranked by "dollars controlled, impact, spheres of influence and media presence".
In the Top 100 list, Ms Ardern came in before Beyonce Knowles at 50, Hillary Clinton at 65, Taylor Swift at 85 and J.K. Rowling at 88.
