NARAL Pro-Choice America will be running an attack ad against Nevada Republican Sen. Dean Heller because he plans to support Brett Kavanaugh for the Supreme Court. The ad, released Wednesday, paints a bleak picture of future America where Roe v. Wade has been overturned and abortion is illegal.

The ad urges viewers in Nevada to “call Dean Heller” and to “tell him no on Kavanaugh.”

Kavanaugh is a pro-life judge but has not explicitly said he will vote to overturn Roe v. Wade — the seminal Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion in 1973.

The attack features a story from Fox News that unearthed an old email from Kavanaugh when he worked for former President George W. Bush. In it, Kavanaugh merely questioned whether it was fair to say that Roe v. Wade was the “settled law of the land,” because not everyone familiar with the law would necessarily concur with that claim.

According to The Hill, NARAL claims the ad will resonate with voters because a Planned Parenthood poll found that 56 percent of them are likely to vote for candidates who support “women’s rights.” Heller’s reelection will be a political fight under any circumstances as Nevada voted for Hillary Clinton in 2016.
