Women Veterans ROCK! Names Brigadier General Carol A. Eggert (R) 2018 Leaders & Legends Honoree of The Year

PHILADELPHIA, PA, USA, May 24, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Carol A. Eggert, Ph.D., Brigadier General (R), U.S. Army is named The 2018 Leaders & Legend Honoree of The Year by Women Veterans ROCK! General Eggert will be honored at The Women Veterans Summer Leadership Retreat, Saturday, June 23, 2018, during the Women Veterans Closing Ceremony & Celebration. It will be held at The Chubb Conference Center & Golf Club, in Lafayette Hill, PA. General Eggert will deliver the Keynote Address to the region’s Women Veterans Community at 3:00 PM.

General Eggert currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Military and Veteran Affairs at Comcast NBCUniversal, where she oversees all aspects of programming and outreach to America’s military and veteran community.

General Eggert retired from her distinguished military career in 2014 as the Assistant Adjutant General for the Pennsylvania National Guard and the Deputy Commandant for the Army War College. Throughout her tenure, she served in a variety of command and staff positions and completed numerous overseas deployments, including a 15-month combat tour in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom as Chief of the Women’s Initiatives Division and Senior Liaison to the U.S. Embassy, Baghdad.
